Prince Foxtail - A Fairytale by Liam O’Neil

Prince Foxtail is the first of two books I’ve made this past year. It tells the story of knight on a quest to win the hand of a fair maiden, like all good fairy tales. On his journey he meets a collection of talking animals who do their best to help, thwart, or use him for their own gain.

This painting was a visual translation of how the client believes joy comes through the connection found in different aspects of experience. I interpreted each aspect as vignettes to the greater movement of one narrative.
